Ann Hess Myers, Chief Gift Planning Officer

Ann joined the foundation in 2014. She has spent over 30 years in development work. She began her career in the alumni and development offices at Dickinson College and then moved on to Lebanon Valley College.

Prior to joining the Partnership, she was a gift officer for the PinnacleHealth Foundation. Her responsibilities included raising funds to build a new emergency department at Harrisburg Hospital, a new West Shore Hospital and the Ortenzio Cancer Center.

As Chief Gift Planning Officer, Ann concentrates on the Partnership’s fundraising program. She works with community leaders, board members and volunteers to build a strong giving program encouraging donors to make an immediate impact on the community, as well as helping to build the future through legacy giving.

Ann has held leadership positions with many community organizations, such as Messiah Lutheran Church and Homeland Center. She has served on the boards of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and Susquehanna Planned Giving Council. She also writes for the BURG Magazine.

Ann received a Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology from Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio, with minors in fine arts and economics.
